This Data Protection Notice explains to you how and for which purposes SWISS KRONO processes your Personal Data and which rights and options you have in this respect. It applies to all Personal Data that you provide to SWISS KRONO or which is derived from your contractual relationship or other interaction with SWISS KRONO. Furthermore, we inform you in the Cookie Policy  on each SWISS KRONO website about how we collect and use your data by implementing cookies or other web-tracking or analytics technologies on our websites.


We, SWISS KRONO sp z o.o. Serbska 56 street, 68-200 Żary / Poland shall be the responsible controller for any Personal Data you provide to us with within the context of you using our website In case you go to other SWISS KRONO websites, the responsible controller shall be the respective website operator mentioned in the imprint.

Apart from that, the responsible controller for your Personal Data is the respective SWISS KRONO affiliate with which you have a business relationship or the SWISS KRONO company which is explicitly stated in a communication with you.


We collect and process in particular the following categories of Personal Data:

  • Contact information, such as full name, work address, work telephone number, work mobile phone number, work fax number and work email address, mobile identification number and the IP address of your computer when you use our websites.
  • Payment data, such as, e.g., data necessary for processing payments and for fraud prevention, including credit/debit card numbers, security code numbers and other related billing information.
  • Further business information necessarily processed in a contract or other contractual relationship with SWISS KRONO or voluntarily provided by you, such as orders placed, purchases, services and other business activities, product feedback and any other information you provide to us within the context of a business relationship or is derived therefrom.

We will process your Personal Data exclusively for the following purposes ("Permitted Purposes"):

  • Initiating, performing and administering your contractual relationship (or the contractual relationship of your organization) with SWISS KRONO e.g. by performing transactions and orders of products or services, processing payments, performing accounting, auditing, billing and collection activities, arranging shipments and deliveries, facilitating repairs and providing support services or providing you with other services or performances you may have ordered or requested.
  • Maintaining and protecting the security of our products, services and websites or other systems, preventing and detecting security threats, fraud or other criminal or illegal activities.
  • General compliance purposes, in particular to ensure the compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations and requirements, such as, e.g., compliance screenings or record-keeping obligations (e.g. based on competition law, export legislation, trade sanctions and embargo regulations or for the prevention of white-collar crime and money laundering). This may include the following measures: Comparing your contact or identity data against applicable sanctioned-party lists and to confirm your identity in case of a potential match, recording your cooperation with third parties which may be relevant for antitrust purposes, notices to or examination by competent supervisory, law enforcement or other competent authorities.

In as far as you have expressly given us your consent, we may processes your Personal Data also for the following purposes:

  • Communicating with you through the communication channels you have agreed to in order to keep you up to date on the latest announcements, offers and other information about SWISS KRONO's products, technologies and services (including marketing-related newsletters) as well as events and projects of SWISS KRONO;
  • Administrating and performing customer surveys, marketing campaigns, market analyses, sweepstakes, contests or other promotional activities or events or
  • Profiling and automated processing: We are collecting information about your preferences on the basis of your activities when using our websites, products, downloadable content (e.g. when registering for the download of software, e-books, whitepapers), or other services we offer to you online. On the basis of this information (e.g. which contents are downloaded, clicked or viewed how often and for how long), we create a user profile to personalize and foster the quality of our communication and interaction with you (for example, by way of newsletter tracking or website analytics). The logic behind our profiling activities is to identify topics which may be useful or otherwise of interest for you and to inform you about such topics in a more customized way. We will not use your Personal Data for taking any automated decisions affecting you or creating profiles in another manner than described above.

The legal bases for processing of your Personal Data are specified in GDPR, Article 6. Depending on which of the Permitted Purposes described above we process your Personal Data for, the processing is either necessary for the performance of a contract or other business agreement with SWISS KRONO or for compliance with our legal obligations or for purposes of legitimate interests pursued by SWISS KRONO or a third party, unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms prevail and contradict such processing. We may transfer your Personal Data as follows:

  • to our affiliates within SWISS KRONO worldwide if and to the extent required for the Permitted Purposes described above and legally admissible. In such cases, these entities will then use the Personal Data only for the same Permitted Purposes and under the same conditions as outlined above.
  • to service providers (so-called data processors) within or outside of SWISS KRONO, domestically or abroad (e.g. shared service centres or Cloud providers), commissioned by us to process Personal Data for the Permitted Purposes on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions only. Apart from that, we will only transfer your Personal Data when you instruct us to or give us permission, when we are required by law or a judicial or administrative order to do so, or when we suspect fraudulent or criminal activities.


We will store your Personal Data as long as required to provide the services, products or information you have ordered or requested and to perform and administer our business relationship with you. If you have told us not to communicate with you, we will hold this information as long as required to comply with your request. In addition, we are required by law to keep certain Personal Data for certain retention periods (e.g. due to retention obligations under commercial or tax law). Your Personal Data will be promptly deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes.

We may require additional proof of identity to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access. We will carefully consider your request and may discuss with you how it can best be fulfilled.

In general, you provide us with your personal data on a voluntary basis. There are basically no detrimental effects on you if you do not consent or do not provide your Personal Data. However, there are circumstances in which SWISS KRONO cannot take action without certain of your Personal Data, for example because this Personal Data is required to process your orders, provide you with access to a web offering or newsletter or to carry out a legally required compliance screening. In these cases, it will unfortunately not be possible for SWISS KRONO to provide you with what you requested without the relevant Personal Data.


In case you are under 16, you need your parent/guardian's permission prior to providing us with any of your Personal Data. Persons under the age of 16 are not permitted to provide us with their Personal Data without such consent.
